Newark will become a two-hospital town in 2007, when inpatient care is added at a physician-owned medical complex on the Licking County city’s west side.The $15 million, 22-bed project will allow the nine-year-old Newark Surgery Center to build on its growth and offer more patient services, said Dr. Don Jones, one of the partners in the expansion.
